Delhi Retina Forum (DRF) had been deeply committed to the wellbeing and safety of our communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. As you are aware that due to unprecedented developments and the risks, the much-awaited physical meeting of our retina colleagues and forum members, the Delhi Retina Meet 2020 had been cancelled.

While we were disappointed in missing the great opportunity to meet retinologists, we hosted Delhi Retina Meet 2020 Virtual on the September 4th to 6th 2020.

Notwithstanding the constraints of a Virtual meeting, the core team the flavor of Delhi Retina Meet was retained. Meeting was loaded with its popular sessions like “Grand Rounds”, “Prove Your Point”, “Dissection Room” and “What Next?”.

The deliberations from International and national faculty benefitted audience tremendously. The live workshop on OCTA by Dr. G Querques from Italy was widely attended and appreciated. Dissection Room invited great interactions and received deliberations and tips from leading International Surgeons including Dr. Carlos Mateo, Dr. Prithvi Mrithyunjaya, Dr. Marco Mura, Dr. Sengul Ozdek, Dr. Hany Hamza and Dr. Dilraj Grewal.

Retinal Imaging Contest introduced in this Virtual meeting invited more than 200 votes and generated great excitement. This is going to be regular feature in future DRF meetings.
